About Brad

It all started when...

I was about to turn forty years old when I was first was called to share the importance of the practice of yoga and it's ability have a positive impact not only on myself but the lives of others and our communities.

My first yoga training occurred in 2012 in Austin, Texas with Off the Mat Into the World®, an international non-profit organization dedicated to bridging yoga and activism. By empowering yoga students, teachers and studios to be catalysts for conscious, sustainable change. Through yoga, meditation, and self-inquiry, I was inspired by the teachings of the founders Seane Corn, Suzanne Sterling and Hala Khouri. My first yoga training set me on the course to better myself so that I may be a catalyst for others and my community.

I developed my personal understanding and appreciation of yoga beyond the physical practice of Vinyasa through my teacher Janet Stone. With the integration of asana, meditation, mantra and devotion my personal practice continues to evolve. I began my formal training in 2014 with Janet in Bali, Indonesia followed by an additional training in San Francisco, California and serve as her assistant at festivals in Colorado.

Because I believe that the best yoga teachers are students, I am committed  to maintaining a strong personal practice with a wide range of teachers and mentors.

As part of the production team for Yoga Journal Events and a Wayfarer for Wanderlust Festivals, I have been fortunate to learn from and practice with extraordinary teachers on a regular basis across the country including Dharma Mittra, Rod Stryker, Gurmukh, Kathryn Budig, Saul David Rae and Colorado's own Amy Ippoliti and Gina Caputo.

You will likely find me next to you in a class offered by a favorite teacher in Denver, Boulder and beyond!
